SoloBrief is a smart client intake and Scope of Work generation tool for freelancers and solo operators. You build a brief from a niche preset, send your client a shareable link, and SoloBrief ensures client answers are specific enough to build from by flagging vague terms in real time. It then compiles responses into a signed Scope of Work proposal with deposit collection and kickoff scheduling.

How does real-time ambiguity detection work?

As the client types, SoloBrief scans answers for ambiguous language across style, timeline, scope, and metrics — phrases like 'make it pop', 'clean', 'ASAP', or 'etc.' When it finds one, it prompts the client to resolve it on the spot with one-click concrete options: a style preset, a real deadline date, an explicit deliverables checklist, or a measurable success metric. Every resolution is recorded and shown to the freelancer alongside the answers.

How does SoloBrief compare to Google Forms or Typeform?

Traditional forms like Google Forms or Typeform only record raw, unguided text, leaving freelancers to decipher vague answers ('make it pop', 'ASAP') and manually draft contracts from scratch. SoloBrief actively guides clients with real-time ambiguity detection, enforces minimum word counts, auto-compiles answers into an editable Scope of Work proposal with milestone timelines, and collects digital signatures, Stripe deposits, and Calendly bookings in a single automated pipeline.

Does SoloBrief generate binding contracts and Scope of Work documents?

Yes. Client answers are compiled into an editable Scope of Work with deliverables, scope boundaries, assumptions, out-of-scope items, a milestone timeline, and a revision policy. Both the freelancer and client can apply digital sign-off, creating a permanent mutual agreement that can be printed or saved as a clean PDF.

Do clients need to create an account to fill out a brief?

No. Clients access a secure, private shareable link. They can complete questions, resolve ambiguities, review the Scope of Work, provide digital sign-off, pay a deposit, and book a kickoff call without creating an account or downloading software.

Can I white-label SoloBrief with my own branding?

Yes. On SoloBrief Pro ($19/month), all SoloBrief branding badges are removed from the client portal, giving your clients a completely clean, professional, white-labeled experience.

How much does SoloBrief cost?

SoloBrief offers a free Starter tier with up to 3 active client briefs and core intake tools. SoloBrief Pro is $19 per month and unlocks unlimited briefs, all 5 niche presets, the full Scope of Work compiler with dual digital sign-off, PDF export, Stripe deposit links, Calendly booking integration, Notion/Trello handoffs, and complete white-labeling.
